APPRECIATION: We sincerely thank you our dear parents/guardians for your constant support and patronage. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to form, mentor and educate your children/wards. We urge you not to relent in this great task of child upbringing, for God will reward you abundantly. PROGRESS REPORTS: During the term, we recorded a tremendous improvement in our students overall performance. Most of them have improved on their cognitive, psychomotor and affective areas of their lives. The Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (NECO) and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) were written successfully and, as usual, we expect the best results. Also in sports we had the Inter House Competition among the four houses in different games such as football, 100m race, 1500m race etc. We successfully held the Parents Teachers Association (P.T.A) meeting wherein parents and teachers rubbed minds on how to improve the standard of the school for the benefit of the students. On a more serious note, we informed the parents that the use of phones by students is banned in the school. Any phone in the possession of students will be seized and collected with heavy fines. The school also seized the use of vernacular speaking in the school premises, any student who violet the rule will be subjected to a fine of fifty naira only, failure to do so disciplinary committee will take action. OUR REGRETS & CHALLENGES: Our greatest challenge at the 3rd term were late payment of school fees, lateness to school and improper dressing. We therefore advise that parents/guardians should ensure that their children/wards are always cute and wear neat school uniforms by replacing the uniforms that are old, torn, tight and worn out during the August holiday. Parents should try and relate more closely with their children/wards to discover on time any possible positive or negative developments in them and urgently address them properly and effectively. Parents should show greater interest in their children through their books, belongings, results and even friends for better discipline and success. In line with the school rules, we hereby remind our parents/guardians not to buy phones for their children. They should also stop giving them huge sum of money to bring to school. In a case of an official payment, parents/guardians should send it through this bank account 2047950041 First Bank, Account name: Bright Future Secondary School. This will prevent possible tendencies for pilfering in school and at home.
